In 2020, most of the major events had to be postponed due to the global state of the coronavirus pandemic. It seems that the situation in the world is slowly getting better, but it still does not allow for all major events to be carried out. The ongoing coronavirus pandemic meant that the IFA 2021, which was to be held in Berlin, will be cancelled this year.
Initially, it was planned that the IFA 2021 fair will be held on 3-7 of September. Due to the current state of the pandemic, the organizers decided to cancel the event, which, as announced, was to be held in physical form. Of course, the reason is largely due to the constantly emerging new mutations of the coronavirus. The organizers, however, believe that next year it will be possible to organize the IFA 2022 event in a stationary manner. It is possible that IFA 2021 will be organized remotely later this year, but so far the organizers have not mentioned anything about it in their announcement.
