The upcoming events around the world have been canceled or postponed to other dates because of the worldwide pandemic of coronavirus. It is not really known when the pandemic will end, so it is very difficult for companies to plan their publishing plans and upcoming conferences. This is the problem also Microsoft is facing, and it looks that Microsoft looks with optimism for idea of making their conferences online.

In the company's official statement we can read that Microsoft plans to organize all its conferences using the Internet until the end of the fiscal year 2021 (i.e. to the end of the first half of the calendar year 2021). In practice, this means that Ignite 2020, Ignite The Tour, MVP Summit 2021 and Build 2021 will likely to be organized as online events. Microsoft's own Channel 9 Studios will definitely make it easier for firm to organize events online.
