The option to listen to podcasts is available on the largest streaming portals, such as Spotify or Tidal. This group will soon be joined by one of the competitors of the previously mentioned applications: YouTube Music. This information was emphasized by Kai Chuk, who is responsible for development of the podcast section at YouTube.
Chuk did not confirm a specific date when the podcasts will go to YouTube Music. All we know is that it will happen in the near future. Listening to podcasts will be free for all users, but in case of free listening from a non-Premium subscription account, ads will appear while listening to the podcast. However, it is worth mentioning that listening to podcasts in the background will be possible for both free and paid accounts.
