A few years ago, there was a lot of talk about the case of deliberately slowing down the operation of iPhones by Apple. Telephones worked slower, which indirectly led to the replacement of telephones with newer models in many cases. The problem concerned the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s phones, and despite the fact that several years have passed since the case in court, another lawsuit regarding this case was brought to court in the UK.

The latest lawsuit alleges that Apple would be required to pay a penalty of £1.6 billion. The request was made by Justin Gutmann on behalf of UK users. Its submission is argued that Apple limited the performance of the phones by hiding battery problems and is to blame for the whole incident. However, Apple claims that the request is unfounded. According to the company, only some of the phones were affected, and the company has already issued an apology in this regard and offered customers the opportunity to replace the battery with a new unit free of charge.
