Recent months for Huawei brought a resolution to the conflict with the US government and it seemed that at least in the coming weeks this problem should not return. It turns out that the previously imposed prohibition of Huawei from concluding contracts with American companies may have an impact on the manufacturer's nearest publishing policy. Based on the reports of one of Google's employees, it seems that the upcoming Huawei flagship, which will be the first to appear on the market after the outbreak of the whole affair, i.e. Huawei Mate 30 may not have access to Android or to official Google's applications.

These reports were confirmed by a Google spokesperson. In opinion of American firm, the lifting of the ban on contracts by US manufacturers with Huawei applies only to new products, and Huawei Mate 30 was developed at the time when the ban was in force. So what is the way out of this situation? Huawei earlier this month announced its own system called Harmony OS, but Reuters suggests another option in its article. According to journalists, Huawei would use Android in the open version, which is available globally as part of the Android Open Source Project. What solution will finally be implemented to the phone? We will see in the coming days.
